Britt, I reckon the main theme of your newspaper should be 1941 - that was a big year in WW2 and would include events like Operation Barbarossa (Hitler's invasion of Russia), the Lend-Lease Act, sinking of the Bismark, the entry of Japan into the war and the attack on Pearl Harbour.
