Help with Photoshop CS2 masks.?

In your first sentence you say the two circles are on different layers -- so just turn off one layer to see only the other. But if you insist on having visibility of both layers turn on, on the one layer you DO NOT want to see, reduce the Opacity to zero (in the Layer palette.)
