What style is this?

That is cartoony flash. I suggest, having been in the same kind of situation, to talk to an artist. They can put together what you want so that you wont be stuck. I got half of my second tattoo paid for by a friend as my birthday present. To get it perfect I talked to the same guy who did my first one and he drew up what I wanted. The result is perfect and better than I could have designed. Take your time, do artist research and when you go to make an appointment take pictures in with you as reference. If you aren't sure about anything, don't do it just yet. Both of those are so outgoing that you seem to know yourself pretty well to be set on those. Mine is kind of cartoony but not totally so I know what you mean. Find what you like and have it put together. It will be worth it when you get the design down perfectly. Good luck!
